Other supporting models of therapy we use are Narrative, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide psychological assessments?

Yes! We offer assessments related to ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Learning, Cognitive Abilities, Disruptive/Impulse Control/Conduct Behaviours.

Are you a Christian or Secular counselling service?

We have Christian and Secular therapists on our team. All therapists are curious with clients about their faith journey as part of a systemic approach to counselling.

Can I use my insurance to access services?

Possibly, our staff are registered with various regulatory bodies. Clients are responsible for verifying their insurance benefits including: therapist credentials and annual counselling allowance. Some insurance providers can be direct billed; however, most often clients are required to pay for their service and submit receipts to their insurance company.

What does a 'Sliding Scale Fee Option' mean?

We strive to provide accessible services for everyone. If the regular rate is a barrier for accessing services, you may talk to your therapist about a lower fee for service option.

How long does counselling last? How many sessions should I expect?

Counselling is a personal journey. The length of time varies considerably and is often based on a few considerations such as: how much time does your insurance provide, what is your presenting struggle, what are your goals for counselling etc… We will discuss this at your first session and determine together what amount of time is right for you.

What payment options do you accept?

We collect payment for session prior to your session start time by cash or e-transfer.
